Active Constituents:

Polysaccharides and polypeptides thus have to be cold process since it could destroy the components of the mushroom (a rule in processing any type of mushrooms), immuno-modulators

Medicinal Uses:

1)This is probably the best researched of the mushrooms that are immunomodulators. The active constituents are orally absorbed.

2)The Japanese have a large body of research showing its efficacy in treating cancer in combination with surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiation therapy.

3) The outcomes of patients undergoing these procedures are more positive when they take this plant. They have also done research showing it to be helpful in autoimmune conditions.

4) Inhibit bacterial infection, hypoglycemia, anti lipidemic, adaptogenic action, used in autoimmune disease since it stimulate hyperactive immune system
